Tarik Reyes

Defense Mission & Health Solutions Sector

In this role, Tarik has full executive responsibility for the several-billion-dollar Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector. It delivers advanced, mission-specific interoperable multidomain solutions that provide our U.S. warfighters and its allies superiority by air, land, and sea within highly contested environments. The sector also delivers advanced public health solutions to citizen and human services agencies, as well as military, public, and global health customers covering critical areas such as public health, Medicare, and citizen-centric services. These advanced solutions include digital systems, advanced fraud and data analytics, data interoperability, disease management, and surveillance.

Tarik has more than 30 years of experience leading organizations and outperforming target markets in defense, intelligence, civil, health, and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Peraton, Tarik was division vice president of Civil and Health at Northrop Grumman with a portfolio of more than 240 programs and nearly $2 billion in sales. During his 16-year tenure with Northrop Grumman, Tarik served in other executive roles: vice president of the Combat Systems and Mission Readiness division focused Strategic and Tactical C4ISR; vice president for the Mission Systems International division delivering U.S. Defense solutions and services to our nation and its global allies; and vice president of the Missile Defense and Protective Systems division delivering integrated air and missile defense battle management and C4I solutions globally. Tarik joined Northrop Grumman from Microsoft Corp., where he served as a services executive within its consulting practice. He has also held senior leadership positions with Visalign Corp. and Bechtel Corp., where his work focused on consulting with global commercial nuclear and fossil power companies.

Tarik earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering and mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. He also has executive certifications from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Strategy and Finance, respectively. He was inducted into the Order of the Engineers in 1994 and the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara Air Defense Artillery Association in 2015, where he was awarded the Saint Barbara Medal. In 2022, he received a Fed100 award for his work in Public Health Security. Tarik serves on the boards of directors of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and chairs the MD Affiliate. He also served on the board of managers for Sandia National Labs within the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Agency and AFCEA Bethesda.
