Bill Mertz

Chief Procurement Officer

Bill Mertz is Peraton’s Chief Procurement Officer. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s procurement organization, including supply chain operations, strategic sourcing, and subcontractor management. He also oversees the execution of Peraton’s procurement strategy that is designed to drive better efficiencies and reduce complexity for the company, its partners, and its customers.

Prior to joining Peraton, Mr. Mertz served as vice president, Enterprise Supply Chain at CACI where he established their integrated supply chain function and led the execution of a multi-year procurement strategy. Earlier in his career, he served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility within procurement and subcontracts at both CACI and SAIC.

Mr. Mertz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in purchasing and supply chain management and production/operations from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland College Park.
