Chief Contracts Officer

As Chief Contracts Officer, Szu serves as the senior contracts advisor to Peraton’s leadership and is responsible for the full lifecycle of contracts management, oversight, and compliance to further the company’s business goals.

Szu is an accomplished contracts leader with over 20 years of experience building high-functioning teams for private and public companies in the government contracting market. Most recently she was Vice President of Contracts and Procurement of The KeyW Corporation (KeyW), a role that she was selected to lead after KeyW’s acquisition of Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. (Sotera). Building upon the contract and procurement successes she established as Sotera’s Vice President of Contracts and Procurement, she integrated the contracts/procurement departments and infused value-added procedures and agile processes for the combined company.

In the position of Leidos’ Director of Contract Operations she led over 35 geographically dispersed contracts professionals in providing end-to-end contracting activities of an $850M group. Prior to Leidos, Szu held contract leadership roles with SAIC, including AVP/Deputy Contracts Director for SAIC’s Intelligence Security Group overseeing the cradle-to-grave contract activities in support of annual revenues exceeding $1B.

Szu has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from American University and an MBA from Marymount University.
