As Peraton’s first chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, Laila Salguero is the driving force behind the company’s rapid evolution to become an industry leader in DE&I. In her first year, Salguero and the DE&I team stood up four employee resource groups, launched a companywide mentorship program, hosted distinguished leaders for Peraton’s internal speaker series, and established sponsorships and initiatives to support women, veterans and emerging professionals.
