O’Sullivan is business consultant who has held multiple management positions at the intersection of technology and intelligence. In 2021, she was appointed to the principal deputy director of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Prior to joining ODNI, she held leadership roles at the Central Intelligence Agency, the Office of Naval Intelligence, and TRW.
In 2019, she was elected as a member of the National Academy of Engineering. She was also a Distinguished Fellow at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). She has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
