Peraton Inc. finally claimed a piece of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ massive cloud effort Monday with an infrastructure-as-a-managed service contract worth close to $500 million.
The seven-year, $497 million contract calls on the Herndon IT contractor to provide hardware, software and services for the VA’s storage and compute infrastructure throughout a network of agency facilities through cloud-enabled offerings.
