Season-long program raises awareness and support for children facing critical illnesses
Sep 3, 2025
This season, Peraton is partnering with Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic to kick-off Touchdown for Wishes to benefit children facing critical illnesses.
For every Washington Commanders touchdown during the 2025 regular season, beginning Sunday, Sept. 7, Peraton will donate $500 to Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic. Last year, led by superstar quarterback Jayden Daniels, the Commanders scored 55 touchdowns—support that generated more than $27,000 to help grant life-changing wishes.
“The Commanders are one of the most exciting teams in the NFL, and every touchdown this season represents more than points on the board—it represents hope for Make-A-Wish® kids,” said Steve Schorer, chairman, president, and CEO of Peraton. “Touchdown for Wishes turns the enthusiasm of the game into lasting joy for children and families who need it most.”
In addition to the donations, fans will hear Peraton’s support highlighted throughout Commanders’ game broadcasts on the Commanders Broadcast Network, iHeart Radio station BIG 100 (WBIG-FM), and the iHeartRadio app—reminding the community that every touchdown helps bring a wish to life.
“Partnerships like the one we share with Peraton are essential to advancing our mission,” said Lesli Creedon, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. “Together, we are giving children with critical illnesses the strength and hope they need during the toughest times in their young lives. With Peraton’s support in Touchdown for Wishes we can grant even more wishes—creating joyful moments that inspire brighter futures for children and families across our community.”
