Peraton has secured a new task order under its ongoing USGS DOI contract to support the National Park Service (NPS) in delivering seamless functionality, top-tier security, and high performance for NPS.gov—the virtual gateway to America’s national parks.
As the public-facing digital hub for 400+ national parks and historic sites, NPS.gov enables millions of citizens to explore the natural beauty and history of the United States, make reservations, and access critical visitor information each year. With more than 300,000 pages of content and a decentralized team of more than 1,000 content authors, the platform requires robust content management, technical oversight, and continuous innovation.
Peraton, joined by CoreOnyx, will deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric cloud services to streamline operations and increase efficiency. With a portfolio that spans support for more than 100 federal organizations, the Peraton team is uniquely positioned to keep the NPS’s digital ecosystem operating without disruption while laying the groundwork for new features and enhanced public engagement.
“Our national parks are a treasure for all Americans. Peraton is proud to support the National Park Service in ensuring NPS.gov remains easy to use, secure, and informative,” said Amy Rall, president, Citizen Security & Public Services Sector, Peraton. “Through this task order, we help the NPS deliver an efficient, seamless experience allowing millions of people to plan their visits to America’s backyard.”
Peraton’s work will strengthen the security posture of NPS.gov, enhance its performance, and ability to support strategic innovations that will make it easier for visitors to plan trips, access educational content, and appreciate the natural beauty of our nation.
