Peraton’s Joe Liberti Named to IEEE Fellow Class of 2026

Joseph “Joe” Liberti, senior director, Peraton Labs, was recently selected to the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Fellow Class of 2026, making him one of nine individuals from the IEEE Information Theory Society to achieve this honor in 2026. Liberti was recognized for his contributions to resilient ultrawideband and multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) wireless communications in contested and congested environments. The IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization.

The IEEE Fellow title is one of the highest honors bestowed by IEEE, given to select members whose extraordinary accomplishments have contributed significantly to the advancement, application, and value of engineering, science, and technology to society.

Liberti is also the author of a smart antenna technology book, more than 40 scientific papers, and the inventor of more than two dozen U.S. patents, further demonstrating why he earned this elite honor.
