Peraton Labs was selected as an awardee under the United States Department of War (DOW) Advanced Spectrum Coexistence Demonstration (ASCD) program. On this prime contract from the National Spectrum Consortium (NSC), Peraton Labs will develop, deliver, and demonstrate spectrum sharing capability that advances national security, promotes warfighter lethality, and enhances economic competitiveness.
“We look forward to providing solutions that ensure spectrum dominance and enable warfighters to win every spectrum contest,” said Todd Borkey, chief technology officer, Peraton. “Leveraging expertise in AI, autonomous real-time systems, and 5G/Next G technology, we will deliver spectrum sharing and coexistence capability that is efficient, secure, and meets demanding needs for resilience, survivability, and low-latency.”
Called COALESCE, for Course-of-Action (COA) Outcome Appraisal Leveraging EMBRSS Security Capability Enhancements, the Labs’ spectrum sharing solution provides unprecedented situational awareness and autonomous planning at speed-of-mission. It enables secure coexistence of federal and commercial wireless users in accordance with the Emerging Midband Radar Spectrum Sharing (EMBRSS) report for spectrum bands critical for U.S. military radar systems.
Peraton Labs pioneers leading solutions for intelligent, dynamic resource orchestration, including OSCAR, its proven spectrum orchestration system, and MINC, its tactical network orchestration system for mission-integrated network control.
