In this role, Mark oversees more than 2,700 personnel delivering full-lifecycle engineering, modernization, sustainment, and integration support to customers—such as NASA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Department of War, and the Intelligence Community—with particular emphasis on mission-critical space weather solutions, space flight operations, and worldwide ground segment development.
Prior to this appointment, Mark served as the Strategic Development sector vice president, where he was responsible for transforming Peraton’s diverse heritage organizations into a coherent, functional enterprise advancing toward its evolving strategic objectives. Since Peraton’s inception, he and his teams have focused on performance improvement, directing initiatives to build capabilities that match customer demand; people development, designing and delivering training to maximize efficacy of internally- and externally-facing personnel; and process enablement, mapping the response to difficult challenges into manageable components, so resources and oversight might be appropriately applied. Mark has led cross-sector and cross-functional campaigns focused on capability development and growth, including Assured Mission Communications and Ground, Hypersonic Systems Support, and Unmanned Maritime Systems, which have since transitioned to sector operations.
He has more than 25 years of experience from Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Peraton. He held multiple positions at these companies, including software engineer, systems engineer, program manager, capture/proposal manager, business developer, consultant, and strategist for government customers.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and lives in McLean, Virginia, with his wife and children.
