Phil Mazzocco

Chief Security Officer

As CSO, Phil is responsible for ensuring that Peraton’s operations are secure and compliant with all government requirements. His responsibilities span the full range of security–risk management, crisis management, program security, international operations, training, and insider threat.

Phil was most recently at Leidos, where he led security operations across a multi-customer $4B portfolio of national security programs. He also led the security team that was integral to the multi-billion dollar electronic healthcare modernization effort for the Department of Defense.

He previously worked at General Dynamics Corporation, The RAND Corporation, and CGI Federal.

Phil earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from the John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed master of arts coursework in Central Eurasian studies at Indiana University.

“In our business, security and compliance aren’t add-ons. They are intricately woven into everything we do, and they are a priority for everyone at Peraton.”
