As CHRO, Laurie is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of Peraton’s human resources strategies to include talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, benefits, organizational change management, and employee engagement. By focusing on the company’s most important asset – its people, she ensures the company is positioned for long term success.
Laurie has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and has served in a series of HR leadership roles in the government contracting industry and other tech-centric companies, including her most recent position as HR director for Harris Corporation. Previously, she led HR at Engineering Management & Integration, Ariel Research Corporation, and Advanced Switching Communication.
Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Virginia Tech, and an MBA in HR management from George Washington University. She earned Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
