Peraton is a proud member of the Assured Information Security (AIS) team awarded the Agile Cyber Technologies 2 (ACT 2) contract with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) – Information Directorate, based in Rome, NY. ACT 2 is a five-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm fixed-price small business set-aside contract with a $950M ceiling. Its predecessor, ACT 1, was awarded to six large primes, including Peraton, in 2012.
ACT 2 enables federal government agencies to rapidly acquire services and support for mission-unique cyber requirements targeting core Peraton capabilities, to include: research and development, design, prototyping, modeling and simulation, testing and evaluation, integration, installation and transitional support of operations and cyber technologies. Focus areas span: cyber threat avoidance and cyber defense; full spectrum cyber operations; cyber network exploitation; cyber situation and mission awareness; cyber command and control; cyber modeling, simulation, and war-gaming; cyber infrastructure; and cyber mission assurance.
