SPAWAR Pacific Information Operations (IO) Meteorology & Oceanography (METOC)

Effective January 1, 2021, Solers was legally merged with and into Peraton Inc. (“Peraton”), and Peraton is the name of the surviving merged entity.

Through the merger, the legacy Solers resources utilized to perform Solers’ existing contracts with the Government (prior to the merger) will remain intact, and the Solers contracts will continue to be performed with effectively the same resources under the merged Peraton entity. Accordingly, contracts previously held in the name of Solers are being administratively updated to the reflect the name of the surviving merged entity, Peraton.


Solers, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Peraton was awarded the Information Operations (IO) and Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Engineering Services and Software Development contract from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego CA. The five-year contract has a value of $57 million and work will be performed at San Diego, California and other key Navy locations in the United States and abroad.

Type of Contract

This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) pricing arrangement for services and a cost-only (no fee) pricing arrangement for other direct costs.

Services

Engineering services will be provided to include software development, testing, integration and documentation of IO and METOC systems in support of Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) programs and SSC-Pacific Projects. This effort supports providing METOC and IO capabilities to the United States Navy (USN), United States Marine Corps (USMC), Joint, and Coalition Forces engaged in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations worldwide, both ashore and afloat, for customers including SPAWAR, PEO C4I and PMW-120.
